TrendMetric is operated by ECOM ALPHA SOLUTIONS LLC. Legal business name: ECOM ALPHA SOLUTIONS LLC. These Terms cover the TrendMetric product at TrendMetric.io. Paid purchases are processed by SquidLane for ECOM ALPHA SOLUTIONS LLC.
1. Agreement and legal entity
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to TrendMetric at TrendMetric.io and https://trendmetric.io. TrendMetric is operated by ECOM ALPHA SOLUTIONS LLC. Legal business name: ECOM ALPHA SOLUTIONS LLC. TrendMetric is the product and brand name. By creating an account, starting a checkout, or using the workspace, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy. If you use TrendMetric for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. Paid purchases are completed with SquidLane as the payment processor for ECOM ALPHA SOLUTIONS LLC. ECOM ALPHA SOLUTIONS LLC sells TrendMetric subscriptions. Checkout, tax collection, receipts, and subscription management are provided through SquidLane.
2. The product
TrendMetric is a software-as-a-service digital research workspace operated by ECOM ALPHA SOLUTIONS LLC. Live features include Trending Products, Trending Markets, Who’s Scaling, AI Market Analysis, Forecast (on catalog products and markets), Tracked, and Projects. VolumeScore™, MarketScore™, demand, growth, competition, seasonality, estimated revenue / TAM, and forecast ranges are informational research signals and estimates. They are not financial advice, inventory advice, advertising advice, or a promise of sales, profit, ROAS, or other business results. Features that are marked Coming Soon (including Spy on Store, Search Product outside the catalog, Track Forecast, public Free Tools, Affiliate, Blog publishing, and Academy courses) are not part of the live service. We may ship, change, or withdraw them without notice.
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid email and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under the account. We may suspend or terminate access that is abusive, fraudulent, or that attempts to extract catalog data at an unreasonable rate, bypass payment, scrape the service, reverse engineer non-public systems, or interfere with other users.
4. Subscriptions, renewal, and billing
Paid access is sold as Starter, Pro, and Business plans in USD. You may choose monthly, quarterly (billed every three months), or annual billing. Displayed “per month” amounts on quarterly and annual plans are monthly equivalents; the amount charged each cycle is the cycle total quoted at checkout. You purchase the subscription from ECOM ALPHA SOLUTIONS LLC. SquidLane charges the payment method you provide, collects applicable taxes where configured, and sends transaction confirmation. Taxes, currency conversion, and processor fees may apply as shown at checkout. A limited regional promotional discount may be applied at quote time based on a country code supplied by our hosting platform. Catalog country pickers do not change the price. Subscriptions automatically renew for further periods equal to your current billing period until you cancel. Recurring charges are taken through SquidLane on or after renewal. If payment fails, SquidLane may retry the charge. Past-due or expired entitlements may lose paid workspace access. We do not guarantee an Enterprise plan, custom contracts, or seats beyond what the live checkout offers.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel a subscription at any time to stop future billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after that, and access continues until the end of the paid period then expires. Cancel using the manage-subscription control in Settings, or by contacting support@trendmetric.io if you need help. Cancellation stops future charges. It is not the same as a refund. Refund requests are described in the TrendMetric Refund Policy.
6. Refunds
Refund requests are handled in accordance with the TrendMetric Refund Policy. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the transaction date. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory statutory consumer rights. See the TrendMetric Refund Policy at https://trendmetric.io/refund.
7. License to use the workspace
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access TrendMetric for your internal research during a valid paid or permitted session. You may not resell the catalog, copy the product to build a competing dataset, or republish substantial extracts of demand history, scores, or market snapshots. You keep rights to notes and project names you type. You grant ECOM ALPHA SOLUTIONS LLC a license to host that workspace data solely to provide the service.
8. Research data and no guaranteed results
Catalog rows, scores, forecasts, and estimated revenue are derived from stored research data and models. Availability, coverage, and freshness vary. Country figures use stored country volumes. Parent and submarket revenue is never added together. TrendMetric does not invent missing months on the monthly board. You remain solely responsible for buying inventory, running ads, launching products, or advising clients. Nothing in the product is a guarantee of outcomes.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) scrape, harvest, or bulk-export the catalog beyond normal interactive use; (b) probe, scan, or attack the service; (c) share logins; (d) upload unlawful content in notes; (e) use the service to violate advertising platforms’ or retailers’ terms; or (f) misrepresent TrendMetric scores as audited financials or observed store checkout data.
10. Intellectual property
TrendMetric, TrendMetric.io, the TM mark, VolumeScore™, MarketScore™, and the site design are identifiers and works associated with the TrendMetric product operated by ECOM ALPHA SOLUTIONS LLC. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. SquidLane’s checkout and related materials are owned or licensed by SquidLane.
11. Third-party services
Sign-in and workspace data are provided using Supabase. Payment processing is provided by SquidLane. Their terms apply to their services. ECOM ALPHA SOLUTIONS LLC is not responsible for outages or policies of those providers beyond our reasonable control.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ECOM ALPHA SOLUTIONS LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT SCORES, FORECASTS, OR REVENUE ESTIMATES ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT, OR THAT USE OF TRENDMETRIC WILL PRODUCE ANY BUSINESS RESULT.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ECOM ALPHA SOLUTIONS LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR AD SPEND, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR TRENDMETRIC IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE, OR FOR FRAUD OR FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION, WHERE SUCH RULES APPLY. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE PLACES LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED.
14. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold harmless ECOM ALPHA SOLUTIONS LLC from claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
15. Termination
You may stop using the service and cancel renewal at any time as described above. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach, non-payment, fraud, or risk to the service. If a refund is granted, access to TrendMetric may cease. Sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations) survive termination.
16. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the service and cancel renewal.
